Delivery & Shipping Information
Delivery & Shipping Information
Chef’s Kitchen uses different delivery services depending on the type of products being ordered and the customer’s delivery location.
Because many of our products are frozen or temperature-sensitive foods, we take particular care to select an appropriate transport method for each order.
Frozen Products
Frozen products are normally transported using specialist temperature-controlled delivery services such as Nim Express and Inter Express.
These services provide temperature-controlled transportation and storage during the delivery process, helping us maintain the cold chain while frozen products are in transit.
Products are dispatched in frozen condition and customers should transfer frozen goods to a suitable freezer as soon as possible after receiving their delivery.
Chilled & Temperature-Sensitive Products
Where products require chilled or other temperature-controlled transportation, Chef’s Kitchen will select an appropriate delivery service based on the product requirements and destination.
The courier used may vary according to service coverage and availability in the customer’s area.
Dry & Ambient Products
Products that do not require refrigerated or frozen transportation may be sent using standard parcel delivery services such as Flash Express, KEX, or another suitable courier.
The courier selected may depend on the delivery address, parcel size, weight and service availability.
Orders Containing Different Types of Products
Orders containing both temperature-controlled products and dry goods may be separated into different parcels when necessary.
This allows us to use the most appropriate transportation method for each type of product.
As a result, different parts of the same order may occasionally arrive at different times.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary according to the customer’s location, the products ordered and the courier being used.
Any delivery time provided by Chef’s Kitchen should be regarded as an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery time because final transportation and delivery are carried out by third-party courier companies.
Receiving Frozen or Chilled Products
Customers should arrange for someone to receive temperature-sensitive deliveries wherever possible.
After receiving an order:
- Frozen products should be transferred to a freezer as soon as possible.
- Chilled products should be transferred to a refrigerator as soon as possible.
- Temperature-sensitive products should not be left unnecessarily at room temperature.
Delivery Problems
If a parcel arrives damaged, appears to have been seriously mishandled, contains an incorrect product, or there is a concern about the condition of the goods, please contact Chef’s Kitchen as soon as possible.
Where possible, please take photographs showing:
- The unopened parcel
- The shipping label
- Any visible damage to the outer packaging
- The packaging inside the parcel
- The affected products and their condition when received
This information helps us investigate the issue with the courier and determine the appropriate solution.
Courier Selection
Chef’s Kitchen reserves the right to select the most appropriate delivery service for each order.
The courier used may depend on:
- Whether the products are frozen, chilled or ambient
- The customer’s delivery location
- Courier service coverage
- Parcel size and weight
- Collection and delivery schedules
- Availability of temperature-controlled transportation
